 Docks walk postponedby Tony Flynn Pauline Lloyd from the Manchester Guild of Tourist Guides was due to host a guided walk around around the Salford Quays on Monday 28th December at 2.00pm sadly has had to postpone the event following a fall on the ice in which she sustained a broken shoulder. The walk was intended to show the history of the old Salford Docks area with mention of Buffalo Bill Cody's visit with Sioux Indians in 1886 also to see the Salford totem pole currently underwaiting restoration at the Lowry Outlet Mall. The walk will be re-scheduled and we will keep you informed of when the next event will be.
