A sad loss to Salford
The news that Shelagh Delaney has sadly passed away has robbbed Salford of one its great voices.

Can SalfordOnline do a piece about this marvellous woman, she gave us so much, just take a look at A Taste of Honey, The White Bus, Charlie Bubbles etc.

If you are a music fan you will know how much Morrissey idolised here.

Jenkins, thanks for posting. What would be your estimation of Shealgh Delaney's influence? She seems to be almost forgotten judging by the response in the local media...
