Pictures from Salford strike march
SalfordOnline reader Sean Kilgarriff has sent in these photographs from the November 30th march from Salford to Manchester.

Sean writes....

You will see my youngest grandson Harvey doing his bit for the unions. He walked all the way from Bexley Square to Whitworth Park and back to St Peter's Square. Not bad for a little fella!

I loved some of the banners and words I saw. If the "author" of the messaged chalked on the wall of the MMU had been in class yesterday he might have learned that don't has an apostrophe in it!

I observed a young female marcher actually knitting as she walked. Gosh I thought, is the guillotine waiting for us at the end of the march.....
