Day Centres reprieve Salford Council Leader John Merry tonight informed his council colleagues that there would be a reprieve for the day care services, which won't be closed during the next financial year 2012/13, while there is a review. This is wonderful news. It shows what power people have when they unite and the council will listen to people. A few people said it was a foregone conclusion. "They have already made their minds up". We said Hands off Humphrey Booths and to everyone's credit the future of Humphrey Booths and Craig Hall is secure for the moment. Let's spread the good news.
