 Details of Albert Scanlon's funeral
By: Tony Flynn The streets of Salford are expected to be crowded with hundreds of mourners tomorrow who will be there to pay their last respects to former Busby Babe, Albert Scanlon. The funeral cortege will be at Old Trafford forecourt at 11.15am where it will briefly pause beneath the Munich Memorial, a touching gesture and reminder to the players who died in the Munich air disaster of 1958 from which Albert survived. From there the coffin will be taken to All Souls Church on Weaste Lane, Salford for a requiem mass at 12 noon. This will be followed by a private interment for family only. SalfordOnline will be there tomorrow to pay their respects and also to speak to friends and fan's of Albert's.
