by Tom Rodgers, News & Features Ed SalfordOnline has made changes to its navigation to make it simpler for you to find the stories in your area.
You'll see a much reduced menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
We've also added a little more colour.
Within News¦Salford News you'll now be able to filter all of the news stories on the site to the area where you live.
Similarly, in the Sport section you can now filter all of the stories and articles to feature your favourite sport.
You can view all the Latest Comments and Polls in our new Have Your Say section.
We are in the process of updating these categories as we go, and SalfordOnline is a massive site with over 20,000 articles and stories, so please be patient.
If anyone would like to volunteer to help us out with this, please email editor@salfordonline.com (I'm only half-joking).

Sorry, sorry, we're getting there, I am suitably chastened and I'll get off my arse and do some work, promise. Upcoming is more on the Salford Totem Pole and something dangerously close to real journalism from the Pendleton PFI saga. Also, over this weekend we're covering Zombies in Eccles, Eccles Festival, the KidsCan event at the Crescent, the Islington Big Lunch, and the busking event at Bexley Square for the Angel Centre. We're on the lookout for some more volunteers who can help us cover these videos, so if you know anyone who might be interested, please pass the message on. Cheers |

Why no new videos apart from the Eccles Fritters ones(which were good) I look forward to them, especially local quirky events that the Advertiser doesn't cover, c'mon Tom and co get on with it!. |

I like the site, obviously a bit strange at first, but the colour index scheme really helps and makes the site less busy and cluttered, we will all get used to eventually and soon have forgotten what the old system was like. |
