Back in April this year we asked you to come up with a name for our project and we can now reveal that the winning suggestion was: “Chapel Street Community Arts”. Congratulations to Jessica Green from Irlam who came a close second with “Inspire”.
And a big well done to Sean Flynn, whose suggestion “Who Art Thou” came in third.
Prizes included:
*Manchester United Museum and Tour tickets for a family of four
*A meal for two at New Oxford
*and two tickets for a gig at Sacred Trinity or St. Phil’s churches
We hope Jessica and Sean both enjoyed their choice of prize. We do still have one prize left to be claimed so if you came up with the winning suggestion, please do get in touch! (We only have your IP address).
We had lots and lots of brilliant ideas and found it very difficult to choose winners. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the competition and hope you will take part in future activites run by Chapel Street Community Arts.

This reminds of the time, many years ago, when the company I worked for asked the workforce for ideas to improve the business... apparently there were over a hundred suggestions submitted. I won first prize, a golf umbrella, with my suggestion... that they should have a suggestion box. Seadog. |
