Panic Stations in Swinton North !
The Community Action Party are making a massive impact in Salford and in Swinton so much so City West Housing staff/contractors have approached residents to warn against putting CAP posters on balconies !

The Community Action Party have put billboards on the balconies of residents who support the Community Action Party in Swinton, some are tenants of City West Housing Trust.

Various boards supporting the Community Action party are sited around the Wyndham Avenue blocks and are securely tied down but their material is so light that they would blow away in wind.

Wyndham Avenue is in Swinton North ward where the Community Action Party is trying to unseat a 30 year career politician who has took SWinton for granted.

Obviously, the Labour establishment in Swinton are at work because the Community Action Party can exclusively reveal that residents are being approached by City West Housing staff/contractors asking why the boards are up making it clear allegedly that staff at the housing office are unhappy the boards are up.

Michael Moulding who is the Community Action party candidate for Salford Mayor and Swinton North councillor candidate where Wyndham Avenue is sited says "If this is true it is extremely worrying when a housing provider is using its staff to pressurise/bully residents into not expressing their democratic support in whichever way they want. My advise to City West Housing Trust is keep their big noses out of the democratic process and get on with keeping homes maintained and rents down. Residents will not be pressurised in this way and they have already been to inform me of their discontent. I know they may be worried about a career politician losing his seat but they have no need to worry because in the event I am successful residents will be well represented." END

Right an example of a billboard (not the resident that was approached)
