MediaCityUK welcomes Dynamic Modelmakers

The head office and workshop for Dynamic Modelmakers International has been set up in The Pie Factory, MediaCityUK.

Founded by design model maker Jonathan Ille, Dynamic Modelmakers provides customised model-making solutions to design industries across the globe.

The company has affiliated partners in the UK, Canada and Australia and specialises in architectural models, display and exhibitions, film, television props, industrial and product design models and sculptures.

Jonathan IIIe, Founder of Dynamic Modelmakers, said: “It was very much a strategic decision to open my workshop in MediaCityUK, given it is quickly positioning itself as a key location for creative media industries and the epicentre for growth for the North West”.

Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCityUK said: “We are thrilled that Dynamic Modelmakers has decided to join us here at The Pie Factory. The team has built an enviable reputation and has great contacts across the globe. We hope they will benefit from being part of a thriving production environment and at the heart of an exciting and creative community”.

Manchester-born Jonathan has recently returned from Australia where he worked for five years, specialising in producing architectural models for numerous well-known developers and architects.

Formerly a food production line, The Pie Factory now accommodates three sound stages ranging from 3,000sq ft to 6,800 sq ft and a choice of office accommodation. It also incorporates a costume department, make-up rooms, dressing rooms and green rooms together with 24/7 security and parking.
