MediaCityUK 'media village' grows in London's Piction
Brand design and illustration company, Piction Media, has opened an office at The Greenhouse, MediaCityUK.

The company - who are relocating from London - describe themselves as 'creative collaborators', and said today that the atmosphere at the Salford Quays site was perfect for them to grow their digital studio.

They join Steve Coogan's Baby Cow Productions and Salford's own Music Industry Learning as new tenants at the Greenhouse offices.

Piction Media, whose portfolio of clients include BBC worldwide, Crabtree Evelyn and Superdrug, specialise in 3D visuals, visual treatments, design artistry, interactive design, brand image systems and traditional illustration.

Matthew Kay, director of Piction Media said: “The Greenhouse is the perfect grow-bed for Piction Media's visual and content media portfolio. As our business is creative collaboration, this is the ideal environment for our digital studio. This, combined with its BREEAM status and commitment to sustainability, attracted us to MediaCityUK and is enabling us to put down roots following our relocation from London.”

Stephen Wild, managing director at MediaCityUK, said: “We are delighted to welcome Piction Media to the growing Media Village here at MediaCityUK. The Greenhouse is now home to a breadth of media and creative companies and we are happy that Piction Media has decided to become a part of the community.”

Piction Media’s service also encompasses content creation, copywriting, high-impact graphics, visuals and content for online, learning interfaces and micro-branding for creative industry professionals.
