Salford developer adds two new law firms
Manor Property Group, who are building the Ordsall student development Manor Wharf (see right), have appointed two new firms to head their legal panel. Irwin Mitchell Sheffield and DWF Manchester - two of the top 30 law firms in the country - will join the Yorkshire-based developer. The panel will be headed by Nic Crocker DWF’s national head of real estate and Paul Firth, senior property lawyer at Irwin Mitchell, and it will deliver a comprehensive range of legal services for company. Manor Property Group has around £850m worth of development projects across a range of markets and building on the Salford project is slated to begin in 2012. Manor Director Robert Lane explained: “We have chosen these two progressive and multi-talented companies to work with us on the wide range of development projects in our portfolio. We will always use specialised legal experts in defined areas when necessary but this panel will be able to assist Manor in its comprehensive plans for 2012 and beyond.” Nic Crocker at DWF said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Manor, and we look forward to bringing our strong sector expertise and national offering to the table. We will be providing a comprehensive range of property sector legal services to support Manor’s future developments and growth.” Paul Firth, who is regional managing partner for Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield office, added: "This is another key and exciting win for Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield real estate team and we certainly look forward to working with them on their exciting range of developments.” Image: Manor Wharf in Ordsall Due to problems with spam only SalfordOnline members can now leave comments.
