Rwanda Commits to Commonwealth Values and Principles on Commonwealth Day
The Commonwealth's 54th member Rwanda was symbolically inducted into the association with a flag raising ceremony at Marlborough House in London, March 8 -Commonwealth Day.

President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame said joining the Commonwealth is an important milestone for his country. Available material includes views of the Rwanda flag raising as well as soundbites, stills and audio files from Rwanda's President Paul Kagame, Commonwealth Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma and Commonwealth Chair in office, Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Patrick Manning.
