British Swimmers Battle The Best Of Europe At The European Championships In Budapest
This week the young British Gas team eyes European glory and will use this week to build momentum for their Commonwealth Games campaign in October.

Monday, 9th August - Sunday, 15th August 2010: The British Gas Swimming team have been in Budapest all week for the European Championships, the first of two big international competitions this year for Britain’s elite swimmers.

The team, made up of swimmers who are both veterans and novices will build on their European glory looking ahead to the Commonwealth Games in October.

Strong performances in the pool this week by medal winners Rebecca Adlington, Gemma Spofforth, Liam Tancock, Fran Halsall & rising star Achieng Ajulu-Bushell will help build momentum for more potential gold medals in Delhi.
