José Mourinho stood up for his goalscorer in his press conference on the eve of the Copa del Rey tie between Real Madrid and Fútbol Club Barcelona. The Copa del Rey (English: The King's Cup) is an annual football cup competition for Spanish football teams. Its full name is Campeonato de España – Copa de Su Majestad el Rey de Fútbol (Championship of Spain – His Majesty the King's Football Cup). The competition was founded in 1902.
