Salford City College launches business training

The city’s college launches new business training opportunities for the community of Salford and beyond

Trinity Business Training is the new business training centre at Salford City College and will provide businesses in the local and wider community with innovative and exciting new training opportunities for their employees.

Resulting from the combination of the business centres of the three original Salford colleges, Trinity brings together the best in experience and expertise to deliver top class support, training and professional development.

Currently based at the De La Salle Centre, on Weaste Lane, the team at Trinity are busy preparing for a move to their new home at Salford Quays. Rachel Kay, Director, commented “The Quays is now very much the commercial and cultural centre of Salford and, if we’re serious about providing high quality training to local businesses, then we have to be right in the heart of the action.”

Being affiliated with the college means that Trinity’s entire range of courses and training provision is fully approved by Ofsted. From pre-employment courses, to degree level and post-graduate qualifications, there is a broad spectrum of qualifications on offer to business, which are all tailored to suit the needs of the client.

Graham Pennington, Chief Executive Officer of Trinity and Senior Vice Principal of Salford City College said “It’s all about progression, regeneration and grasping opportunities. The level of support and training we provide at Trinity is tremendously important for the aspirations of the community of Salford and those in employment in the city.”
