Kenyon Halloween Disco
City West’s Community Development Officers recently visited Peel Park Primary school where they asked 2 – 6 year olds to act as Environmental Detectives for City West. Each class was given several cameras to go out in the neighbourhood and take photos of what the children, didn't like, did like and what they thought was missing. As a reward and a way of bringing the community together children taking part were provided with a free disco which was held at St Paul's Peel Church hall on 30th October were the guardians of the children were asked to complete an environmental improvements questionnaire about the area. Over 100 people turned up to the disco making it a very memorable event. All those that attended the event stated that it had made a positive difference to their community. There were lots of games and even a prize for the scariest family, best dressed boy and best dressed girl.
