Big band season at Victoria Park - enjoy the sunshine and relax in the park while the band plays in the bandstand. Take a picnic for a fun afternoon for the whole family. This month it’s the turn of the Pantonic Allstars Steel Band, Sunday 5 September – music is from 2.00-4.00pm. Tudors live! - while Ordsall Hall is closed, the staff from the hall have temporarily relocated to Salford Museum & Art Gallery to host this Tudor themed fun day. It’s a great way to get the kids interested in history and fun for the whole family. This is a FREE event, 2.00pm – 4.00pm on Sunday 5 September. Broughton Festival and Fun Day - it’s still festival season in Salford and this weekend the fun is happening in Broughton. On Saturday you can enjoy a great family day out with plenty on offer to keep everyone happy. Cirque du Salford will wow the crowds with their dazzling circus shows, for the active members of the family there’s a climbing wall, bungee trampolining, donkey rides, go karts, small children’s rides, face painters, crafts, health bus, Zoo Lab and much more.
