Chris Addison and Alun Cochrane come to Salford
Two award-winning comedians will be performing at the Salford Lowry over the next few months.

Chris Addison, star of BAFTA-winning comedy The Thick Of It, Oscar nominated feature film In The Loop and regular panelist on Mock the Week, is set to embark on a brand new 39-date national stand-up tour; 'The Time Is Now, Again'.

Hot on the heels from his sell-out 2010 tour, Chris Addison is familiar to TV audiences from his appearances on shows including Channel 4’s Skins, Have I Got News For You and Live at the Apollo.

Tickets are on sale from today and the tour started on 16th November 2011 and he performs at The Lowry, Salford on Sunday 4th March.

Alun Cochrane has extended his national tour Moments of Alun into 2012. The extension will see Alun perform to audiences in Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Swansea for the first time as well as the Lowry, Salford.

Moments of Alun with its stories of 25 year mortgages, beeping fridges, violent fantasies, and the perils of red wine mouth, continues after a month at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe festival where Alun played the highly coveted Main Room at The Stand Comedy Club.

He loves proper stand-up comedy about real life, but intimately done which is why he can’t see himself doing the enormous arenas many of his friends and colleagues currently do on their tours, “I just don’t think I’d feel comfortable causing all that traffic.”

He performs at the Lowry, Salford on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd March 2012.
