Some of the team members have previous experience of dealing with the aftermath of earthquakes in India, Turkey, Algeria and Pakistan and will utilise everything they have learned previously.” The UK team is made up of personnel from Greater Manchester, West Sussex, Kent, West Midlands, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Hampshire as well as Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Services. A total of 61 personnel have been mobilised, assisted by two search dogs and equipped with twelve tonnes of equipment. Due to problems with spam only SalfordOnline members can now leave comments.
