Broughton flat fire
Firecrews from Salford and Agecroft attended a fire at the Gateway Apartments, Broughton Road, Salford, today, following a call at 00:15am.
A mattress had caught alight in a flat causing severe damage, two other flats were affected by the smoke. Breathing apparatus was used by the firecrew who searched the building, no injuries have been reported and it is thought that the fire was accidental.
