Woman freed from car in Salford
Shortly after 1pm on Wednesday, 7 September, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received a report of an incident on Gilda Brook Road, Eccles, where a 59-year-old woman was trapped in a car following a collision.

Firefighters from Agecroft and Eccles Fire Stations attended and, using specialist cutting equipment, released the woman from the vehicle before she was conveyed to Hope Hospital and admitted.
