Salford firefighters at Cheetham factory blaze
Around 25 firefighters are tackling a large blaze at Greenland Bedding on Howard Street in Cheetham, Manchester. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 9am today (Wednesday, October 26). Five fire engines from Manchester Central, Broughton and Salford attended the incident. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to bring the fire under control. As of 11.30am crews remained in attendance. Update to follow. Source: GMF.
