7th floor flat fire in Salford
Fire crews tackled a fire this evening on 29th October in a 7th floor flat at NV Buildings, The Quays, Salford.

Fire crews were called to the blaze just around 9.30pm which started on an external timber decked balcony.

Firefighters from Salford, Stretford and Manchester Central attended the incident and brought the fire under control using breathing apparatus and two jets.

Crews managed to contain the fire on the balcony and prevent fire spread to the rest of the building.

Fortunately no persons were involved.
