Eccles woman has front door set alight
A woman has been rescued by fire crews in Eccles after someone set fire to her front door.

The 54-year-old was trapped in her kitchen inside her ground floor flat on Barric Close at 10.19pm on Saturday, November 26.

She was given survival advice over the phone by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Control Operator Gail Price and crews from Eccles and Agecroft arrived within two minutes.

She was then led to safety and was checked by paramedics but declined hospital treatment.
