Kitchen fire, Eccles
Fire crews attended a second-floor flat on Worsley Road, Patricroft yesterday to put out a kitchen fire.

Two fire engines from Eccles and Agecroft were called to the Eccles flat at 1.10pm on monday after reports that a pan of food ahd caught fire.

Firemen needed to use two 9-metre ladders to gain access to the property and wore breathing apparatus to get into the flat.

A hose reel was also used.

No-one was reported hurt in the incident
