Rise in theft from cars at Traffic Lights
Police are warning motorists to take extra care at traffic lights

There has recently been 2 thefts of handbags from cars while motorists have stopped at traffic lights on Regent Road, Salford at the junction with the M602 motorway..follow these tips to stay safe
1. Keep your doors locked
2. Lock valuables in the boot before setting off on your journey
3. OR hide handbags under the seat
4. Always leave enough space between your car and the car in front, ensuring you can make a quick getaway if necessary.
5. If you see anything suspicious ring the Police immediately.
