Walkden fake water board thefts
Vulnerable adults are being targeted again by a series of fake officials cheating their way into homes before stealing cash.

In Walkden there was a specific incident, described below.

An unknown male knocks on the door, on opening states he is from the water board and needs to check the central heating. Cash is then stolen when the occupants back is turned.

The offender is described aas a white male, approximately 30yrs old, slim build, dark hair and moustache. Wearing a striped shirt, dark trousers and grey cotton gloves.
