Man arrested following Eccles assault
At 12.45am on Saturday 13 March 2010, police were called to Liverpool Road in Eccles following reports of a man being found unconscious. Officers attended and found that the 32-year-old man had been seriously assaulted and suffered heavy bruising on his head and body. He has been taken to Hope Hospital where his condition is described as stable. A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been bailed pending further police inquiries.
