GMP Vidcast - June 2010
Superintendent David Wilkinson at the Swinton station talks us through the police priorities this month, which include the World Cup, and letting people know about a violent criminal who escaped from Forest Bank prison who has now been safely returned.

Superintendent Wilkinson talks to SalfordOnline every month about the issues his officers and the community currently face.

Over 30% of all burglary in Salford is down to "insecurities", that's people not locking their doors and windows and criminals getting away with stealing your stuff.

So David is keen to stress the importance of locking windows and doors now that summer is approaching. With the likelihood of barbecues in the back garden, people can forget to lock their doors, and this makes it easy for burglars, say police.
