A great site for Salfordians every where, brought up in Pendleton went to St James RC, courted my wife at the Hi Fi club on Broad St in the 60s, lived in Gardner st that is where the Cent picture house was and Marchants gym, lived in California the last 27 years You can take the boy out of Salford but you can`t take Salford out of the boy. What a great site. Thank you so much to the people who have given thier time in setting it up..I was born in Salford. Had a great life their. Married a local boy from the flats ..moved to Monton. Had two beautiful girls ,now both married Have two beautiful Grandchildren.. Moved to Adelaide South Australia...Have just spent over 2 hrs on this site What a blast from the past.. Many many thanks..I will be here again tomorrow... regard Jean Now Wood....
