We were all at the game on Friday 19/08/2011 and was overwhelmed with the support from Salford Reds & The Willows who have been more than generous in helping us raise awareness and much needed funds for Niemann Pick type C,
They have donated the ground for a charity footie match 9th October & the variety centre on 18th November for a charity cabaret night.
We were also delighted to meet some of the people who follow Lleyton on twitter Thank you for a brilliant night & mostly for a lovely Memory that was made for the future, and a big thank you to Salford on Line

Thank you "Salfordonline" for doing such a great job on your
feature about the recently restored Hulme's Bridge Ferry - I
have started to harness the influential power of the
Ramblers' Association to get the current teething problems sorted.

Who, why and when was the decision taken to demolish the landmark that was All Souls Church in Weaste? I understand church congregations are dwindling and any decisions must not have been made easily but why this particular church was chosen baffles me? Whilst living in the area for many years i have attended many celebrations, i passed by the church two days ago and all that remained were the steeple, and a digger was moving the rubble......ironically in the distance one small wall remained at what would have been the back of the church, was two mosiacs, i hope someone has preserved these pieces of history! Such a sad sight...is this ironically the shape of things to come?
