This is by far the best site for the people of Salford and all the ex-pat Salfordians. There is so much to see from the HUNDREDS OF PHOTOGRAPHS to the latest NEWS supported by videos as well as still photographs, The interaction with the community is INSTANT allowing anyone to make comment on almost everything. GREAT SITE - keep it up!

Facebook has a group on its site called classic salford I've never seen so many old photos of our great city I recommend having a browse you will entranced for hours I've been on a nostalgia trip ever since I went on the site

Salfordian and proud of it, Born edwin st just off whit lane, If you go to the museum at the crescent they have lots of photograhs of whitlane and surrounding streets. You can get photocopies, I have made a book of lots of them, now I can walk down memory lane in picture and memories.
