Copenhagen Fashion Festival Opens for Everyone
From February 10-14, everyone can participate in Copenhagen Fashion Festival by heading to shows, parties, and receptions, or making the most out of special discounts, especially during Fashion Night Out.

Most of the Copenhagen's finest stores celebrate Fashion Night Out with long opening hours, discounts, new collections, competitions, champagne, music and more.

Eva Kruse, CEO – Danish Fashion Institute
We have created the Copenhagen Fashion Festival in order to also invite all the citizen of Copenhagen and the tourists, but also of course the professionals who all are engaged in buying at the fairs or participating at shows, but still who need a good experience of Copenhagen.

Trine Wackerhaus – Designer
The inspiration this time is art deco, the collection is called We are Deco, and I think it is basically an ongoing love story with me and art deco, I always use the graphic shapes and the floating femininity of certain fabrics, and the men's wardrobe is just eternal love for me.
I think that the Copenhagen Fashion Festival is a very good initiative, because it opens up to the public, and it just makes it as one big party instead of just for the few.

So during Copenhagen Fashion Festival apart from things taking place and shops and many different activities you can win tickets to the actual Fashion Week to the runway shows.

Hannah Kim Ford – winner of tickets to the Wackerhaus show
It was absolutely great to win tickets to this show. I love that we get an opportunity, and it is just fantastic that I got to see this show, I really loved it.

Eva Kruse, CEO – Danish Fashion Institute
During the Copenhagen Fashion Festival you can experience many different things taking place in the city in shops and activities around and winning tickets to things, but if I should mention a few things, I think that one funny thing is that in this old pastry and cake place called "La Glace", they have made a cake together with the designer Rikkemai.

Marianne Stagetorn Kolos, the owner of La Glace
Conditori La Glace has a long tradition for making cakes here in Copenhagen, and ever since the Fashion Festival opened for the public, we have been a part of the festival too. We have invited different Copenhagen designers to make cakes by bringing their designs and their way of showing designs. So this year, we have invited Rikkemai, who is a very colorful Danish designer – you can see her cakes here. We are very happy to work with her, because she has beautiful birds and colors in her design.
