Video: SalfordOnline sends Hanukkah greetings - Chag Sameach
Although many of us think of this time of year in terms of a purely Christian festival, there is a Jewish tradition which also takes place around this time and which goes back much further in time.

Hanukkah is when the Jewish community remember the story of those who rose up and freed their people, only to discover that the oil left in their desecrated temple -- which should have been enough for only one night -- ended up lasting for eight. The event is commemorated by the lighting of the Menorah

The United States President, Barack Obama, recently hosted a Hanukkah event at the White House, this necessitated the kitchens being "kosher-ized". The following short video, issued by the White House, gives us an indication of just what that entailed.
