A new course is being offered giving out tips on social networking and internet marketing techniques. The free course starts from Monday 25th July at the Creative Media Centre in Bexley Square, off Chapel Street.
It'll run for 10 weeks from 1pm to 3pm on Mondays.
Samantha McHale is the new business manager for the centre, which is located just down the way from the Salford magistrates courts, and serves local media buinesses with hot desks and cheap office space.
Sam will run the Mad About Media Course and says: "This is a fantastic taster 10 week course to build confidence and knowledge of using Google, social networks, Ebay etc."
She says: "Our vision is of a hub which provides affordable office suites, flexible desk space and business support services for small to medium enterprises, freelancers and start ups working locally in the creative industries sector alongside facilities and activities to engage the local community in the creative industries."
The Creative Media Centre is run by the Angel Healthy Living Centre, who have their offices and cafe just up the way on Chapel Street.
