Worsley MP on summer casework, part 3 - flytipping
by Tom Rodgers

`In the final part of our most recent interview with Barbara Keeley MP, on the agenda this summer are the perennial local nuisances of graffiti and fly-tipping, for which the council have managed to successfully prosecute cases (see links below).

But what powers do local people have to challenge fly-tippers if they're seen despoiling Salford streets? And who should they contact if they have any trouble?

Ms Keeley has produced an anti-social behaviour handbook with guides to the law on the major annoyances which crop up regularly, including fireworks, graffiti, alcohol, noisy neighbours and harrassment. Copies are available for local residents from the MP's surgery on 0161 799 4159
