Video: Monton protesters share incinerator views
by Tom Rodgers

Here's a couple of extra interviews at the Say No To Green Lane Incinerator meeting at the Queen's Arms pub, Patricroft.

Former local councillor Eddie Sheehy talks about the particulars of the campaign and the mood inside the camp.

Landlady of the Queens Arms Lynn Benson also gives us her point of view.

Councillor for Eccles, Judith Tope, sits on the planning committee and so could not attend on the grounds of conflict of interest, but several protesters noted that none of the current councillors for the Eccles ward had managed to show up at the meeting.

[Update] Since this article was posted, we have been contacted by another protest group in Germany who want to spread the word about the types of waste materials that will be earmarked for incineration, and more technical information should you be interested.
