Video: Pre-count interviews at Worsley & Eccles South vote
by Tom Rodgers
Editing by Victoria Howell

At the general election count for the Worsley and Eccles South vote, SalfordOnline took the liberty of interviewing as many candidates as possible to find out their thoughts on their last day of campaigning.

Also, with the exit polls showing a hung parliament the most likely outcome of the general election, we asked the candidates whether this would be a good thing for the country.

Involved in this interview are Barbara Keeley (Labour), Richard Gadsden (Liberal Democrat) and Andrew Townsend (UKIP).

Iain Lindley (Conservative) declined to be interviewed in the pre-count period.
