Video: Worsley and Eccles South election

Barbara Keeley won the Worsley and Eccles South seat in the General Election, with the count taking place at the Buile Hill Visual Arts College early on Friday morning.

In this video are the full results from the election, including the winning election speech in full from Barbara Keeley, and interviews with Barbara and her closest rival, Convervative Iain Lindley.

Those results:

Barbara Keeley (Lab): 17,892 votes; 42.9%

Iain Lindley (Con): 13,555; 32.5%

Richard Gadsden (Lib Dem): 6,883; 16.5%

Paul Whitelegg (Eng Dem): 2,037; 4.9%

Andrew Townsend (UKIP): 1,334; 3.2%.

This gives Barbara a majority of 4,337 from a turnout of 41,701.
