   Salford ROAR 2012
Salford ROAR 2012 is a huge community event for all the family from the City of Salford Lions Club, Social Adventures and other partners. It will showcase a host of local activities on Sunday 3rd June 2012 at Rabbit Hills Park, Bolton Road, Swinton M27 8TG.
All community organisations, schools, groups and clubs are invited and encouraged to participate and join the fun. If you have an an activity you would like to share or display or a stall you would like to run then attend this 1-hour Briefing Session on Saturday 18th February at 10am at the Angel Centre, Chapel Street, Salford M3 6FA (parking at rear) to find out more and register your interest or just come along and volunteer to help make the event a real winner. There will be a main stage available for performers, live music and entertainers, children’s entertainment marquee, junior football and rugby competition, cultural cooking demonstrations, children’s amusements and rides art and craft fair and anything else that your group may want to bring!! Proceeds to Salford Carers and St Anne's Hospice.
