High Sheriff awards DJ
Tony[oops!]Thornborough

Salford City Radio presenter Gordon Allan was last rewarded for his tireless efforts in stocking the computer system with thousands of hours of music.

It's a very important task that usually gets overlooked and unrewarded but Gordon has given up much of his spare time to keep the award winning station supplied with quality music.
His partner on the airwaves Ian Rothwell said "Gordon really deserves this award and he is great to work with"

Christian Wewer the High Sheriff of Manchester presented the award in front of Gordon's family and collegues at the station last night and was clearly moved by the whole experience.

I was there to film the event but due to technical problems I have lost the footage of the actual award being given. So I'm sorry but I didn't shoot the Sheriff.
