By Tony Thornborough Salford rapper Adam Townsend aka the Unexpectable released his first album Great White Hope on Monday 14th September. With the launch party about to take place on Thursday 1st October at the Mint Lounge, I decided to catch up with Adam and his manager Lennie Richards at appropriately enough the Hope pub on Eccles New Road.
The full line up for the launch party will be
The Unexpected,Mynx and Crown Jewelz. The host for the evening will be Ras Kwame and spinning the tunes for the evening will be Kenny B.
Doors open at 9pm and tickets are £8.
For tickets phone 07930580093
So get behind you're local talent and go out and get a copy of the Great White Hope. It's a rare occasion we get such a talent as The Unexpectable in Salford.

I saw this guy a long time ago in a local pub rapping and I have often wondered what he was doing now. It's good to see he is still doing his thing because he was amazing then. Keep it real Adam and I will be tuning in to Salford City Radio on Monday night to hear some more. Will this be on Tony T's show then? |

Good Luck to The Unexpected about time we had some rap without the Ho's, Gun's, Bitches etc, we usually get churned out and admired by the likes of Tim Westwood the homey whose dad is a Bishop, straight outta Lambeth....Palace!. |
