The Thingumajigs on Salford Music Hour
by Mr Rabbit
The weirdest pop band in Salford (that's a compliment lads) take to Jon Coupe's stage tonight when they feature on the Salford Music Hour. You can listen online to an exclusive and very shambolic interview with Thingumabob, Jack the General and Rochester from the world-famous (but only in Eccles) Thingumajigs. Says Rob Shoard, the only one of the group who can be identified as definitely human: "We’re on Jon Coupe’s show on Salford City Radio 94.4fm. "Listen online or, if you’re in Salford then tune in on 94.4fm. We’ll be playing a couple of tunes in the studio and getting interviewed by our friend Jon Coupe." Jon's show starts at 9pm tonight, tune in to hear the best music coming out of bands within the city walls.... The Salford Music Hour is every Wednesday from 9-10pm.
