   Suzuki Method announce tour dates
Salford band Suzuki method have announced a tour to promote their new EP, Purple Aki. The name The Suzuki Method comes from the method of teaching,” explains bassist Michael. “It’s where young children play music from an early age, as soon as they can speak. You just let the child learn the instrument themselves, without tuition and forcing them. “It’s a brilliant way of teaching and I think it’s something we can all identify with. The best bands learn to play by instinct and feel. You don’t have to have a degree in music to write a classic song that connects with people. The Suzuki Method of teaching music used to be on the national curriculum, but it’s not any more,” adds Adam. With the debut EP from SUZUKI/METHOD set for release in late April they will be playing a few shows around the country, starting with a Northwestern jaunt. Their first date will be next TUESDAY 23rd march at the newly opened Sound Control venue off Oxford Road, Manchester. It's also an extra special show as good buddies and label mates Silverclub will be starting the proceedings. Joined the Facebook group?
