Dynamic Death Party at Islington Mill, Salford
Dynamic Death Party is an exhibition of work by recent graduates. Together they share a position, a point that knows its end. What opportunities and projects will shape their lives and in the end what will it mean? 'Nothing affects our understanding of life more than the knowledge of death, it can't be ignored...it must be celebrated.' Local curators Jeni Wright and Gass Pendergast have invited 7 artists from across the North of England to contribute to a conversation about death, including amongst others work by Melissa Tutin, Jacqueline Smith and Stephen Nuttall aka the Fag Baboon. The subject has been taken seriously but not without a sense of humour. Join us on the opening night for the opportunity to estimate your own death date and raise a glass to the time you have left! Wednesday 25th January: 6-9pm This is a FREE event. Source: Islington Mill. Due to problems with spam only SalfordOnline members can now leave comments.
