Salford's Myler and Walton in England Academy squad
Two of Salford City Reds first team squad will be representing their country tonight as the England Under 17s take on the Australian Institute of sport at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington.

Richie Myler and Jason Walton played on opposite teams in the state of Origin game earlier this year but will be joining ranks to represent their country in the first of two matches

Junior Academy Coach, Alan Hunte said: Its great to have representation in the England 17s and goes well for the two players next season in the Reds first team squad. With an up and coming tour to Australia both players will look to securing a place down under next summer and it would be great to get even more players into recognition.
