   Irlam Hornets fund raising night
By: Jason Whitty Irlam Hornets A.R.L.F.C. v Pilkintons on Saturday 13th March was unfortunately called off at the eleventh hour by Pilkintons having insufficient player's to play the Division 4 match. In the evening we held a Irlam Hornets Race Night and Karaoke which was a success and with the support from many local business's which we give a huge thank you for their continued support in the community, also the punter's who had a flutter and good old sing song. We managed to raise funds for two worthy causes on the night "Irlam Hornets On Tour (USA) May/June 2011" and "Christies Cancer Fund". We look forward to our other events throughout this year and next for raising funds for the exciting tour in USA next year.
