Elderly Salford man remains in hospital following collision
An 80-year-old man was injured after being involved in a collision in Salford.

At about 1pm on Thursday 28 January 2010, the man was crossing at the junction of Leicester Road and Granville Avenue when he collided with a Daewoo.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to a broken leg and head injury. He remains sedated in hospital. His condition is described as being serious but stable.

Witnesses to the collision should call traffic police on 0161 856 7773.
