this has nothing to do with any kind of percieved bullying culture within the council, lets not seek a political platform instead think of marks family. those who knew mark know he was not a man to be bullied by anyone he was a man who stood for his convictions and what he believed was right and will be missed by a great many |

Mark is the third person working at Salford Council to take his life this year,I have heard rumours that a bullying culture exists, the Cheif Executives seems mute on this. I think an investigation is in order to see if work related stress is the contributing factor to these 3 individuals taking there lives. Does anyone know how to start this, what is the procedure? |

Condolences to marks family. Nice guy who did good work with young people. Guess we'll never know why such a sad loss for lots of people. I say rejoice in the good things he did while he was here.

I worked with mark for 12 months in youth work (Deans) and was always encouraged by his friendship and enthusiasm to go above the call of duty to support and encourage young people to lead a more healthy, legal, and purposeful life. This is a terrible loss and my deepest sympathies to his wife, children and family. Tony Downes |
