Police unearth cannabis haul in Salford
Two PCSOs from the Salford East Neighbourhood Policing Team have uncovered cannabis believed to have an estimated street value of at least £10,000.

While out on patrol on Burton Walk in Trinity this morning (9 January 2012), PCSO Mike Fisher and PCSO Andy Shaw discovered four large bags and a small bucket containing cannabis bush in a rear alleyway.

PCSO Mike Fisher from the Salford East Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We followed a strong smell of cannabis which led us to a back alleyway where we found the stash of cannabis.

“Residents regularly tell us that they are concerned about drugs and this morning we have taken a large quantity off the streets that otherwise would have been sold within the local area.

"We take the cultivation of cannabis very seriously and will always act on information provided to us by the public, so if anyone knows anything then I urge you to contact us so that we can bring an end to drug-fuelled misery.”

Sorry but I forgot to mention the quote by the hobby bobby ,"bring an end to drug fuelled misery" what year are these people living in?

Purleeze! the stuff that they have found has been dumped, and why?, because as my good friend tells me, because this is the left overs from scissoring up and not worth a cent, a load of sticks, stems, leaves and not a bit of bud in there. £10 grand, how do they rech these figures? Still a good result from the keen nosed PCSO's, and three half decent laundry bags, make your own conclusions, I have.
